The three triangles that surround the middle triangle represent the basic means of life. While the middle triangle represents the other triangles together as one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The colour red is symbolises enthusiasm, persistence and achievement, because you need enthusiasm to do the work, persistence to keep going no matter how hard, and achievement represents the hard work that you put in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The colour blue is symbolises calm, tolerance, and maturity, because you need to be calm when doing the work, tolerance to accept others&#8217; failings along with their merits, friendship promotes solidarity between friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The colour green symbolises peace, growth, and wisdom, because you need peace in order for your relationships to grow, and wisdom to guide you to make the right choices in life.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Charter<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Asian Television Australia Association Incorporated (ATVAA) is a full member of the Melbourne Community Television Consortium (MCTC). The MCTC charter is the primary charter of ATVAA. In addition, the ATVAA is an Asian Community video program production organisation for Victoria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It provides a broadcast mechanism for Asian Community programs to be aired on channel 31 through ATVAA arrangement. Programs that are related to the Asian\/Australian culture, tradition, lifestyle, community activities, festivals &amp; personal views etc. are welcomed for submission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ATVAA endeavours to play a role of cultural connection between the Asian (Chinese in particular) and the European and mainstream communities. ATVAA expects that a harmonic, peaceful, tolerant, mutual-respective and happy society of Australia will be achieved through the persistent, innovative and constructive efforts of ATVAA programs&#8217; broadcast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Operation of Organisation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ATVAA is managed by a Management Committee, which comprises of 15 committee members with a term of two years. ATVAA&#8217;s committee members are mainly prominent Asian community leaders. These leaders will provide a base and diverse experience from the communities and their support of the organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Monthly meetings are held to discuss the administration, video program production and finances of the association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Annual General Meetings are held to report the association activities and financial status to all members and to elect the new committee members for every two-year term.<br><br><strong>Constitution<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ATVAA&#8217;s constitution complies with the requirements for incorporated associations by the Business &amp; Trade Affair Office of Victoria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>History, Members &amp; Finance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ATVAA has worked together with MCTC since 1990 to apply for the community License. ATVAA has supported MCTC since then. ATVAA has 120 members registered. The ATVAA financial support mainly comes from Asian Community Associations and partly sponsorship from Chinese businesses. An annual dinner is used to raise the necessary funds for the organisation&#8217;s operation.
